AIKI translates as “harmonizing energy” but, if that’s all you know, it ain’t gonna get you too far.
So what then is aiki, and why is it important to you as a martial artist?
Aiki is how you take internal power to the next level.
In my brand new program we will be discussing how to use the internal power you have developed in the Dragon Body Conditioning System training to now create aiki. You will also learn new internal power training exercises to boost your martial power and increase whole body strength!
(NOTE: This is a stand alone program that will teach you all you need to know about forging a powerful Aiki Body. Prior experience is NOT required)
Aiki is the interplay of yin and yang within your body that allows you to create kuzushi (off balancing) on contact. It is, what Sagawa of Daito Ryu, referred to as Transparent Power.
The Aiki Warrior Program is where I take you to the next level.
Here is just a sampling of what I cover inside this new program:
- What is aiki and how do you develop it? (hint - it's NOT what you think!)
- What exactly is the difference between internal power and aiki, and why you can't have one without the other
- Why aiki is the ultimate level of body-mind development for martial artists and how the greatest martial artists of all time used this method to build their legend (and you can too!)
- How to build, move, and fight with an Aiki Body
- The best way to integrate strength training with aiki so you can rapidly progress in both areas at the same time
- The most effective breath training exercises for adding power to your aiki body
- The warrior's tools of the trade for enhancing the development of aiki - power building with weapons
- Why Ueshiba (founder of aikido) called aiki his "health insurance policy" for getting older
- How to create dual opposing spirals within the body to move with power
- How aiki creates a "transparent power" in the body that can instantly unbalance the opponent and nullify their technique
- My solo training regimen for aiki that looks like a weird "dance" (but is so effective!!)
- Understanding the theory, method, and exercises behind IP/Aiki and how and why they work so damn well
- And much, much more...
The Aiki Advantage
One of the things I've always maintained about internal strength training is that it is a shortcut to becoming an all around badass martial artist. I'm not saying it's easy, not all. It requires training (and I'll show you exactly how!).
BUT, it confers a huge advantage in those who know its secrets.
Why?
Because by connecting your body with intent (mind-body connection) and building tendon and fascia strength, you create a kind of resiliency and ability to create and transfer force that isn't readily available to others - you may surprise yourself with the results!!
What difference would that make in YOUR life, if you were able to finally overcome your lack of motivation and finally achieve the strong, powerful, injury-resistant body (that can hit like a truck!) you always wanted while building your health and vital energy in the process?
